2.0 Delivery Modes
PaiPai offers four different delivery modes. They are
Self with Zero Charges
Third Party Logistics
Third Party Logistics with Adloggs
Adloggs Logistics Direct
These four delivery modes have their own unique advantages based on the customer requirements.
2.1 Self with Zero Charges
In this mode, all the deliveries are done by the delivery staff of the merchant.
There is no involvement of any third party logistics.
The logistics charges are based on what is configured in the merchant delivery charges. If these charges are configured as Zero, then it’s considered a free delivery.
2.2 Third Party Logistics
In this mode, the deliveries are done by the ONDC network integrated third party logistics service providers.
When an order is placed, the merchants can find their preferred on network logistics partner, based on the network requirements. They can also enable auto-assign feature to automatically find a logistics partner.
2.3 Third Party Logistics with Adloggs
In this mode, the deliveries can either be done by the on-network third party logistics partners or by the Adloggs, our off-network logistics service provider. The merchant can choose the mode based on their requirements.
2.4 Adloggs Logistics Direct
In this mode, the deliveries are done by the Adloggs directly. There is no involvement of the delivery staff of the merchants or the on-network logistics partners.
The merchants configure these logistics modes on outlet level, directly from the outlet settings. You can find the configuration procedure below.
3.0 Logistics Price Type
With PaiPai, merchants can configure two types of logistics prices.
From Actuals
Merchant Delivery Charges.
3.1 From Actuals
In this configuration, the prices for the delivery charges are determined by the logistics provider themselves. So, in case of Third Party logistics or Adloggs partners, they will decide the prices for the deliveries.
3.2 Merchant Delivery Charges
In this configuration, the delivery charges are applied based on the configuration done by the merchants in their account. These charges are applicable irrespective of the logistics service provider.
Note: If the merchant chooses the Merchant Delivery Charges option, it is mandatory to configure the Delivery Charges for the Outlet. The delivery charges can be configured in this path.
Business Module>> Outlets>> Outlet Name>> Delivery Charges Tab>> Configuration process.
You can check out our delivery charge configuration guide, for more details.
Note: For the ‘Self with Zero Charges’ delivery mode, it is mandatory to choose the ‘Merchant Delivery Charges’ as the price type. For the other three delivery modes, the merchant can choose either of the price types.
