Bitsila Logistics with auto-assign is a powerful feature that simplifies the logistics management process for businesses. It is one of the most essential features for businesses who do not own the delivery staff and depends on logistics for the order delivery. This feature helps businesses to auto-assign the logistics below the predefined rates without manual effort. By automating logistic management, businesses can save their valuable time and resources that would otherwise be spent manually assigning and coordinating logistics for each order.
2. Guide On How to Use Bitsila Integrated Logistics
Here is the complete guide on how to use Bitsila integrated logistics with the auto-assign feature that includes defining delivery fee, enabling the auto-assign feature in the account level and outlet level, and recharging the logistics wallet.
2.1. Defining Delivery Fee Based on Distance
To define the delivery fee of orders based on distance, follow the below steps:
Navigate to the Business Module, and click on outlets
Choose the outlet for which you want to define the delivery charges.
Navigate to the Delivery Charges tab and click on the Edit button.
Now define the delivery fee based on distance, we have defined from 0km to 6km, and the delivery charges as 70 rupees. Click on the Update button, and now the delivery fee is defined for this outlet.
2.2. To Enable Auto-Assign Logistics
Bitsila has two options to enable Auto-Assign Logistics. Below, you will find the process for enabling Auto-Assign Logistics at the outlet level and account levels in Bitsila.
2.2.1. To Enable Auto-Assign Logistics For Single Outlet
The Steps to enable auto-assign logistics for any one outlet are as follows:
Navigate to the Business module and click on Outlets.
Choose the outlet for which you want to auto-assign logistics.
Navigate to the Settings tab and click on the Edit button.
In Bitsila logistics, enable Auto-Confirm Logistics, Online Order, and Offline Order, and define Max Logistics Upper Price(%) as per your convenience. Now click on the Update button to save the changes.
Max Logistics Upper Price denotes allowing the system to auto-assign the orders if the delivery charges are 50% more than the predefined delivery fees.
2.2.2. To Enable Auto-Assign Logistics In Account Level Or All The Outlets
The Steps to enable auto-assign logistics for all the outlets are as follows:
Go to the profile from the top right corner and click on the Business profile
Navigate to the Preferences tab and click on Edit.
In Bitsila Logistics, Enable Auto-Confirm Logistics, Online Order, and Offline Order. Enter the Max Logistics Upper Price(%) at your convenience.
Max Logistics Upper Price denotes allowing the system to auto-assign the orders if the delivery charges are 50% more than the predefined delivery fees. Now click on the Update button to save the changes.
Now the auto-assign logistics has applied for all the outlets of your business.
2.3. How does the Auto-Assign logistics work?
A new order is placed for the store for which we have enabled the auto-assign logistics option.
In the backend, the logistic is already assigned as soon as the order is placed as shown in the image below.
2.4. Recharging Logistic Wallet
There are two ways businesses can use payment gateways with Bitsila logistics:
Businesses can use their own payment gateways.
Businesses can use Bitsila payment gateways.
Businesses that use their own payment gateways need to recharge their logistics wallet to use Bitsila-integrated logistics. To recharge the wallet follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Delivery module and click on the Logistics Wallet.
There are two tabs Details and Wallet transactions where you can find all the information related to the logistics wallet. The Wallet Transactions tab displays all the transaction summaries including recharges and deductions for each order
To recharge the wallet, click on Recharge Wallet.
A popup appears select the amount you want to recharge using the dropdown and click on Confirm button. The payment gateways open from where you can recharge the wallet.

3.1. What is the reason if the orders are not getting auto-assigned even after enabling the auto-assign option?
The main reason why the orders do not get auto-assigned are:
The low predefined delivery fees- increase the predefined delivery fees as per the standard cost.
The logistics might not be available at that moment- manually assign after some time.
3.2. What is the alternate option if Auto-assign logistics?
The alternate option for auto-assign logistics is to manually assign the logistics. To assign manually use Find Logistics partner next to the orders, upon clicking the option, the list of available logistics is displayed in the dropdown. Choose the logistics as per your preference.
3.3. Who can use Bitsila integrated logistics?
Any Bitsila users can make use of Bitsila integrated logistics with the auto-assign feature and it is more helpful for businesses that do not have their delivery staff and depend on third-party logistics to deliver their orders.

3.5. Can I override the auto-assign feature?
The auto-assign feature is designed to automate the logistics assigning process, there may be cases where manual intervention is required. In such instances, businesses can override the auto-assign feature and manually assign logistics as needed.
3.6. How does the auto-assign feature work when the delivery fee from logistics is more than the predefined delivery fees?
To address this, we have an option called Max Logistics upper price limit %. By defining this option system auto-assigns the orders more than the predefined percentage. Let's say the user has defined the Max Logistics upper price limit % as 50%, then the system auto-assigns the orders if the delivery charges are 50% more than the predefined delivery fees.
