Bitsila offers a convenient feature that allows businesses to configure state and city-based delivery for their customers. By customizing their delivery preferences based on location, businesses can provide a better delivery experience to their customers.

To configure state and city-based delivery on your Bitsila account, you will need to switch to your business profile. From there, you can access the delivery configurations tab under preferences. In this tab, you can set the delivery method and type, and even create a new zone for delivery. With this guide, you can follow a step-by-step process to configure your state and city-based delivery settings, and enhance your customer's shopping experience.

To set up state and city-based delivery and create delivery zones on Bitsila, follow these steps:

Step 1:

Log in to your Bitsila account and switch to the Business Profile by clicking on the profile icon and choosing the Business Profile.

Step 2:

Click on the Preferences tab, click on edit and scroll down to find the delivery configurations tab.

Step 3:

Under the delivery configurations tab, click on the Delivery Method tab, and select State/City.

Step 4:

In the Delivery Type tab, select Duration Based.

Note: You need to create delivery slots for every outlets and customer has to select slots to place an order

Step 5:

Once you have set the delivery configuration, you can create a delivery zone by adding Delivery Method and Delivery Type

Step 6:

To create a zone, navigate to the delivery configurations tab and select the Delivery Zones option. From there, you can proceed to create a new zone.

Step 7:

Click on the create new button to create a new zone.

Step 8:

A pop-up screen will appear, enter the Zone Name in the Name tab, Enter the State Name, and check the box to Allow Cash on Delivery.

Step 9:

Click on Create, and your zone will be created.

If a delivery pincode is not supported by any delivery zone, you can block the pincode to ensure that the customer cannot place any orders for that delivery area. This can be done by adding the pincode to a blocked list within the delivery configurations tab, which will prevent customers from selecting it during the checkout process.

Note: You can add multiple zones for delivery by repeating the above steps.
