Overview
Inventory items are tangible goods that can be counted, tracked, and valued. They are the products or materials that a business sells or uses in its operations, including finished products, components, supplies, and merchandise. On the other hand, non-inventory items are usually non-tangible goods that cannot be easily tracked or valued, such as office supplies, cleaning supplies, and utilities. The Bitsila application is a powerful inventory management software that can help you easily manage your products and inventory levels. In this user guide, we will provide step-by-step instructions on how to mark items as inventory or non-inventory in the Bitsila application. By marking items as inventory, you can effectively monitor your inventory levels, sales, and stock reorder points, while non-inventory items are not counted as stock and are not tracked as inventory.
Steps for marking item as Inventory or Non-Inventory:
Step 1: Login to the Bitsila Application
Launch the Bitsila application and enter your username and password to log in to your account. After login, you will be taken to the dashboard.
Step 2: Access the Product Module

Step 5: Mark as Inventory or Non-Inventory
After clicking the Edit button, scroll down to locate the Inventory Control section. Here, you will see a checkbox labeled "Inventory Item". To mark an item as inventory, check this box. To mark it as non-inventory, uncheck the box.
Step 6: Save Changes
After marking the item as inventory or non-inventory, scroll down and click the Confirm button to save the changes made to the item.
Note: It is important to mark your items correctly, as this will affect your inventory levels and stock reorder points.
Marking an item as non-inventory means that it will not be tracked as part of your stock and inventory levels.
Items that are marked as inventory will have their stock levels updated automatically as sales are made.
