Instructions that the System Side needs to follow for adding products in bulk using the Bitsila application.
Step 1:
Login to the Bitsila application, which will take you to the dashboard.
Go to the Products Module and select Item Categories.
Step 2:
On the Item Categories page, click on Create New to create a new category.
Step 3:
Enter the details, such as the Master Category (The master category refers to the category for which you are creating the item), Name, Description, Tax Percent, Business Category, and Image Aspect Ratio.
Upload Images and click on Create and then Confirm. The category will be created.
Step 4:
Once the category is created, create Groups.
To create groups, go to the Products Module on the dashboard and select Item Groups.
Step 5:
On the Item Groups page, click on Create New to create a new group and enter details.
Step 6:
Select the Master Category of the item group, enter the Name, select the Category under which the item has to come, enter the Description, Tax Percent, and upload Images and Icon.
Click on Create and then Confirm. The item group will be created.
Step 7:
Once item categories and groups are created, go to the Products Module on the dashboard and select Data Import and Export.
Step 8:
On the page, click on Export and Download the file to be exported.
Open the downloaded file and fill the items details of stores such as Item Code/SKU, select Item Category, Item Name, Barcode, Price, Selling Price, B2C, Tax Percent, or download the file which you have asked the store person to fill and Save file.
Note: Make sure the excel file is in the correct format and all the required fields are filled in.
Step 9:
Now go to the Products Module and select the Data Import and Export option and click on the Import button.
Step 10:
If there are any images, check the Process Image URLs option to upload Images.
Upload the excel file and click on Import. The products will be added.
Steps for store side to sync product catalog or import and export products on the Bitsila application:
Log in to the Bitsila application. You will be directed to the dashboard.
Go to the Business Module and select Outlets.
Click on the particular Outlet that you want to manage.
On the overview page, click on the Items tab.
Click on the Action Button located in the right corner.
Select Sync Product Catalog to synchronize your product catalog with the application.
Note: Before adding products in bulk, ensure that all product details are accurate to avoid any errors.
It is important to upload high-quality product images to attract customers.
Alternatively, you can use the Import and Export option to add products to your store.
Tip: Use product categories to organize the bulk products you add. This will make it easier for customers to navigate your website.
