Steps for Adding a Category in Bitsila Application

Step 1:

To create a category, log in to the Bitsila application. The dashboard will appear.

Step 2:

From the dashboard, go to the Product Module and select Item Categories. This will take you to the item categories page.

Step 3:

Click on Create New to begin creating your category.

Step 4:

• Enter the Details, such as the Master Category, Name, Description, Tax Percent, and Image Aspect Ratio (Square, Rectangular Vertical, or Rectangular Horizontal).

• Add Images and Icons to your category.

Note: It is important to choose a clear and concise name for your category that accurately reflects the products it contains. It is also recommended to provide a detailed description to help customers understand what they can expect to find within the category.

Step 5:

Click on Create to create the category.

Step 6:

• Once the category is created, click on the Action Button and select Change Status.

• Enter Active as the new status to activate your category.

There are two ways to add a category in Bitsila, through the Outlet option and through the Warehouse option. Here are the steps for each option:

Adding a Category through the Outlet Option:

• From the dashboard, go to the Business Module and select Outlets.

• Click on the Particular Outlet where you want to add the category.

• The overview page of the outlet will open. Click on the Items tab and select Add Items.

• Choose the items you want to add to the category and click on Confirm.

Adding a Category through the Warehouse Option:

• From the dashboard, go to the Procurement Module and select Warehouses.

• Click on the Particular Warehouse where you want to add the category.

• The overview page of the warehouse will open. Select the Items tab and click on Add Items.

• Choose the category you want to add and click on Add.

• Click on Confirm to add the category.
