Lead Creation User Guide

Overview

To expand our customer base and reach our collective goal of onboarding more businesses into ONDC, we are striving hard to generate leads through various channels. It could be cold calling, social media, solicited meetings, or even a referral, we follow up with the lead and communicate to know what they are looking for and what we can offer them. After the initial confirmation of a Lead, we will register the lead in our system and verify their contact information and forward them for account creation process.

So, here is how we Register the Lead into our system.

Step-by-Step Procedure of Lead Registration

Step 1: Go to the Sales Module on the left side panel and click on Sales

The Sales screen will appear.

Step 2: Click on the Plus (+) Icon 

The Lead Registration form will appear

Step 3: Fill in the Client’s Personal Details of the Lead and Finish OTP verification

An OTP will be sent to the Client's Mobile number. Fill in the OTP field in the next screen and finish the verification.

Once verification is done, you will be led to the next step of the registration process.

Step 4: Enter the Client’s Business Details

Select the Industry from the first drop-down

Select the business category in the second drop-down

Now enter the business name without any spaces which also be your domain name if it is available. If it is not available, then pick a different name. You can check the availability based on the green check mark on the bottom right.

Now Click on the Next to move to the next step of the process

Step 5: Enter the Business Address Details

Click on next after entering the location details and you will be redirected to the Other Details Page


Step 6: Enter Other Details 

Enter the GST and PAN details

Select an Order Preference from the drop-down

Select a Catalog

Click on Next and you will be taken to the Plan Section Page

Step 7: Select a Plan based on the Business Preference

Click on the Choose the Plan button for the plan you chose.

You will be taken to the Business Timings Page

Step 8: Select the Business Time slots in which the Client’s business will be active.

Click on the Next Button

Step 8: Select the Order Preference (Delivery/Curbside, Instore Pickup) Time Slots


Select the time slot for these order preference operations. You can set the time slot and the number of orders that will be processed in the time slot before it closes.


You can add more leads by clicking on the Plus (+) Icon at the bottom

After selecting the slots, click on Create Lead Button. The Sales Lead will be Created Successfully.

Step 9: Check the Sales Lead

You can check the created lead, Go to Sales Module on the left Side panel and Click on Sales Leads

The Leads Page will appear

There you can see the Lead that you created in the list

Now you can proceed forward to create the account for the Lead
