1. Account or Catalog Level Override

Once logged in, you'll land on the dashboard. Locate and click on the Product module. This module is where you manage your product offerings.

Within the "Product" module, find and click on the Customization section. This is where you'll define and manage customizations for your products.

Initiate New Customization:

Look for the option to Create New customization. Click on it to begin the process of adding a new customization.

Specify Option Details:

For each customization option, fill in the following details:

Item Name: Identify the specific item to which this customization applies.

Step 2: Modify Customization Prices and Details

Once you've created customizations for your products in the Bitsila application, you may need to adjust their prices and other details. Here's how you can modify customization prices and details effectively:

From the dashboard, navigate to the Products module, which is your hub for managing product-related activities.

Modify Customization Prices:

Locate the customization you want to modify on the page. Click on the ellipsis button next to the customization name, and then select Edit.

Select Variant Type:

In the customization edit window, you'll find a Type dropdown.

Choose the appropriate variant type from the options: Item VariantStock Variant, or Other Variant.

Specify Variant Details:

Depending on the variant type:

For "Stock Variant," enter the stock variant percentage in the provided field. This percentage will be used to calculate the item price. Stock Variants are non-inventory items, so the pricing is calculated based on the percentage provided.

For "Item Variant," select the linked item from the options.

Choose a "Price Type" (percent or fixed) and Enter Value Percent. Percent-based pricing is calculated based on a percentage of the item price, while fixed pricing is a specific amount in the currency (rupees).

For "Other Variant," pricing is always in absolute terms (rupees). These customizations add to the overall pricing without involving stock deductions or inventory adjustments.

Set Additional Details:

Ensure the customization is marked as Active.

If this variant should be the default for the base item, enable "Is Default."

If the item will be fulfilled from the Factory, enable "Is Factory Item."

Override Default Pricing:

Enter the "Channel Price" to override the default price for this customization

Enter the Price Online for B2C Online sales.

Enter the Price POS for B2C POS sales.

Enter "B2B Online %" and "B2B POS %" to adjust pricing for B2B channels.

Enable Channel-Specific Availability:

Determine where this customization is available by enabling or disabling the checkboxes for "Is Online," "Is POS," "Is B2B POS," and "Is Aggregator."

Color Code and Update:

Choose a color code to visually distinguish this customization.

Click Update to save the modified customization details.

2. Store Level Customization and Price Overrides

Managing customization and price overrides at the store level is crucial to cater to specific outlets and sales channels. Here's how you can effectively modify store-level settings and prices in the Bitsila application:

Access the Business Module:

Start by logging in to the Bitsila application and landing on the dashboard.

Navigate to Outlets:

Locate and click on the Business module. This is where you manage your business-related settings, including outlets.

Select the Target Outlet:

Within the "Business" module, choose the specific outlet for which you want to modify customization and pricing. Click on the outlet to access its details.

Modify Customization for Store:

In the outlet details page, look for the item you wish to customize. Click on the ellipsis icon (three dots) next to the item, and then select Edit Customization.

View Store Level Customization:

Once in the customization edit window, you'll see the store-level customization options.

Enable/Disable Store Availability:

  • Check the Store Enabled checkbox to make the customization option available for sale in the selected store.

  • Uncheck it to remove the customization from this store.

Channel-Specific Availability:

  • Note that enabling or disabling "Store Enabled" will determine whether the customization is available for sale in this specific store.

  • If "Store Level" is disabled, the customization will be inactive across all sales channels.

  • If "Store Level" is enabled but specific sales channels (B2C POS, B2C Online, B2B POS, Other) are disabled, the customization won't be available in those particular channels.

Price Level Override:

  • Prices set at the store or outlet level will take precedence over the account-level prices.

  • For example, changing the price for B2C Online at the store level will impact only the B2C Online price for that store.

Variant Type Pricing:

  • Stock Variant: The pricing will be shown as a percentage based on the stock variant you've set.

  • Other Variant: Prices are always displayed in absolute values (rupees).

  • Item Variant: Pricing for item variants is managed at the item level, and it can be either percentage-based or a fixed amount, depending on your settings.

Note:

Enable or disable overrides are possible for all three types of variants: stock variant, other variant, and item variant (except price override for item variant, which is managed at the item level).

Item variant prices can only be edited at the item level since they are linked to specific items. Pricing for other variant types can be managed at the customization level.
