Variants, Customization and Add Ons

• To add variants, customizations, and add-ons in the Bitsila app, start by logging in and accessing the dashboard.

• From there, navigate to the Products Module and select the item you want to Customize and add Variants to.

• On the item page, click on the Create New button and provide all the necessary information.

• To make items visible to customers, they need to be activated. To do this, follow these steps:

a. Go to the item page in the Bitsila app.

b. Click on the Action button on the right corner of the screen.

c. Select Change Status from the dropdown menu.

d. Choose Active status to activate the item

Once the item is created, you can proceed to Add Variants, Customizations, and Add-Ons.

Variants:

There are two methods for adding variants to an item.

Method 1

Step 1:

To add Variants, on the dashboard, go to the product module and select the item for which you want to add variants.

Step 2:

On the display page, click on the Variants tab and click on Create New.

Step 3:

Enter the Primary Option, select the Type, enter the Price Factor, select the item for which variants are to be added, select Active status from the dropdown menu, enter the stock percent, and click on Create.

There are two types of variants - Item Variant (which can add different variants) and Stock Variant (the main item).

Note that it is possible to add multiple variants for an item.

Method 2

Step 1:

Another Method is to select Variants on the Product Module.

Step 2:

click on Create New

Step 3:

Enter the name, and click on Add Options.

Step 4:

Enter the Option Name and Option Type, for example, if creating a variant for cake, enter the quantity/weight in the option type tab, and enter veg/non-veg/egg/others in the option name tab.

Step 5:

To edit variants, go to Variants on the product module, click on the item on which you want to edit variants, the variants page will open, and then click on the Variants option tab. On that, click on the kebab menu in the options tab, make the required changes, and click on Update.

Customizations

Step 1:

• To add Customization, log in to the Bitsila app, and click on the products module on the dashboard.

• Select the customization option and click on create new.

Step 2:

Enter the Name of the item for which you want to add customization options.

Step 3:

Click on the Add options tab and enter the Item Name, Option Name, Option Type, Price, and Status.

• Under the Item Name tab, enter the Name of the product for which you want to create the customization options.

• In the Option Name tab, enter the Name of the customization option, such as flavor or color.

• In the Option Type tab, enter the Type of customization, such as veg or non-veg.

• In the Price tab, enter the Price of the customization option.

• Make the Status active and click on Create to create the customization option.

Step 4:

To edit the customization option, go to the Customization tab and click on the customized item. On the customization page, click on the Options tab and click on the Kebab menu to Edit the options. Once you have made the required changes, click on Update to save the changes.

Variants with Customizations

Step 1: To create an item with variants and customizations, log in to the Bitsila app, and go to the product module.

Click on the Variants with Customizations option and select Create New.

Step 2:

A pop-up screen will appear, enter the Item Name, select Variants in the variant tab, select Customizations and select the Item's Name for which variants or customization is to be added in the items tab, and click on Create.

Step 3: 

A pop-up page will appear, click on the Variants tab and click on Create New.

Step 4: 

Select the Variants tab in the variants option, enter the Price Percent, and click on Create

Step 5:

Once variants are created, click on the Customizations button and click on Create New to create customizations.

Step 6:

Select Variants, Customization, Customization Options, Price Factor, Min Quantity, and Maximum Quantity, and click on Create to create customizations.

Step 7:

Then click on the Action button, click on Change Status, and change the status to Active.

Step 8:

Click on History to know about the logs.

Add Ons:

Step 1:

To create Add-Ons, log in to the Bitsila app and go to the product module.

Choose the Add-ons option.

Step 2:

On the display page, click on the Create New button.

Step 3:

Enter the Item Name and select the Item IDs to which you want to add the add-ons.

Click on the Create button.

Step 4:

On the display page, click on the Addon Items tab and Click on Add.

Step 5:

Select the Item Name for which add-ons to be added and click on Add.
