User Guide for Account Creation Through Import

1.0 Overview

For your TSP, the current account creation process has multiple steps that need you to gather detailed information from your leads.

And in case you have multiple leads, creating each account manually becomes tedious, repetitive and time consuming. For such cases, we are now streamlining the process of Account creation through the new import feature.

With this process, you can create multiple accounts at the same time with a single Import and without the need to go through the repetitive process of entering each and every detail of your sales lead in the sales module.


2.0 Step-by-Step Process

Open the reference spreadsheet given by the team.

You can see that the first two rows of the document are filled with details. You need to fill the details of your leads in the rows based on the column headers.

You can refer to the second row which has the reference data of a pre-existing account.


Now enter the Basic Details like the email id, mobile number, name of the merchant, business entity name and a brief description of your lead.

As mentioned you can create multiple accounts at the same time. So, you can enter details of more leads in rows below.

Now enter the companies’ billing address details.

Enter the Pickup Store address details.

Enter the Aadhar number, Company’s GST, PAN and TAN numbers.

Enter the store contact number.

Enter the Product Category.

Enter the serviceability radius.


Enter the Banking details of the customer along with the image urls of the signature.

Enter the Shop Establishment Act license number, FSSAI License Image URL, FSSAI Expiry date, FSSAI number.

Enter the Contract document and the Brand Logo URLs.

Enter the Store Image URLs.

Configure the Store timing details.

Enter PAN card, GST and Cancelled Cheque, Image URLs.

Enter the Contract Personnel Details.

Enter the Store address Details.

Enter the Mapping IDs, Account Details, and remaining details before saving the document.

Delete the reference column after entering all the details.


Go back to your System side and navigate to the Master Catalog Module and Click on Account Imports.

Upload the saved spreadsheet and click on Import.

You will be redirected to the Data Imports Module, where you can see the import operation has been added to the list.

It will be in Progress Status by default.

Within a few seconds, the status will change from Progress to Success, indicating the successful Import.

Navigate to the Accounts Module and open Accounts.

You can see the newly created accounts.

Q1: Why should I use the import feature for account creation?

A1: The import feature is designed to streamline the tedious and time-consuming process of creating multiple accounts manually. It allows you to create accounts for multiple leads simultaneously with a single import, eliminating the need to enter details individually.

A4: After uploading the spreadsheet, navigate to the Master Catalog Module and click on Account Imports. You will be redirected to the Data Imports Module, where you can track the status of the import operation. The status will change from "Progress" to "Success" once the import is completed successfully.


Q5: Can I edit the imported account details later?

A5: Yes, you can edit imported account details. Navigate to the Accounts Module, open the relevant account, and make the necessary modifications. Keep in mind that changes made after import won't reflect in the original spreadsheet.


Q6: What should I do with the reference column in the spreadsheet?

A6: After entering all the details, you can delete the reference column from the spreadsheet. It is included for guidance purposes and is not required for the import process.


Q7: What happens if the import operation fails?

A7: If the import operation fails, check for any errors in the spreadsheet, such as missing or incorrect data. Correct the issues, save the spreadsheet, and re-upload it for another import attempt. If issues persist, reach out to the support team for assistance.


Q8: Is there a limit to the number of accounts I can create through import?

A8: The number of accounts you can create through import is generally flexible and depends on system limitations. For large-scale imports, consider consulting with your system administrator to ensure optimal performance.
