Overview
This user guide aims to provide step-by-step instructions for setting packaging charges on the Bitsila application. Packaging charges refer to the cost of packaging materials, such as tubs, lids, cases, sleeves, bands, wrappers, pallets, etc., for each product. The guide covers two types of packaging charges, namely Order Level Packaging charge and Item Level Packaging charge. Its purpose is to help users easily set up packaging charges for both order and item levels.
Below are the steps to set packaging charges on the Bitsila application for both order level and item level.
Order Level Packaging Charges:
Step 1:
Login to the Bitsila application and go to the dashboard.
Step 2:
Go to the Business Module and select Outlet.
Step 3:
On the outlets page, click on Settings and select Edit.
Step 4:
In the Packaging Charge Details tab, select Order and click on Update.
Then navigate to Packaging Charges tab, click on edit and enter the Charge for packaging based on order types such as App, Web, Phone, cm, POS, ONDC,** Mobile_Web**, Whatsapp_bot and click on Update.
Note: It will take only order level because it is configured as order level.
Item Level Packaging Charges:
Step 1:
Go to the Product Module and select Items.
Step 2:
Click on a Particular Item for which you need to set packaging charges.
Step 3:
The overview page will appear, click on the Packaging Charges tab and click on Edit.
Add charges based on order types such as App, Web, Phone, cm, POS, ONDC, Mobile_Web, Whatsapp_bot and click on Update.
Step 4:
Once you update the packaging charge on the Packaging Charge tab, go to the Business Module and click on Outlets, click on the particular outlet, and click on Settings.
Click on Edit in the packaging charges tab, select Item and click on Update.
Note: It will take only item level because it is configured as item level.
Configure both Item and Order Level Packaging Charges:
To configure both Item and order Level Packaging Charges, go to the Business Module, select Outlets, click on a Particular Outlet, click on Settings, and click on Edit.
In the Packaging Charges tab, select Order and Item, and click on Update.
Whenever you configure packaging charges, it will automatically update in both order and item.
Note: You can configure both item and order level packaging charges or choose only one of them depending on your requirement.
Make sure to select the correct charge type (order or item) while configuring the packaging charges.
Packaging charges will be automatically updated in the order and item once you configure them.
Tip: It is recommended to set the packaging charges for all order types to avoid any discrepancies.
